Night to Shine - Donations Needed

Thank you for supporting the Night to Shine Prom!

We have 200 guests with special needs signed up to attend this event, and over 300 volunteers.

With the huge growth in numbers we are asking for donations on food items to help feed the guests a snack during the primping time prior to the prom, and also serve a light meal to the volunteers and the parents/care givers of the guest that will be at the event as well.  We will have catered food items for the guests and their buddies during the actual prom.

You may sign up for as many items as you would like to bring below.  All items may be dropped off at Prairie Ridge Church (825 NW 36th St, Ankeny) on Friday, February 13 between 12 - 4 pm.

Prairie Ridge Church was selected by the Tim Tebow Foundation as one of 50 host sites for the upcoming nationwide Night to Shine prom for people with special needs. This event will happen in 50 different cities across the country simultaneously on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 6-9 p.m.

With a red carpet entrance and friendly paparazzi welcome, guests will be greeted by their very own buddy who will serve as their host for the evening. Guests will receive VIP treatment including flowers, hair and makeup, professional photography, food, dancing, games and more! The guests will also participate in a crowning ceremony where they will each receive a crown or tiara. In addition to being crowned a prom king or queen, each guest will get to take home Night to Shine prom favors.

Prairie Ridge Church will be assembling a team of volunteers to assist in hosting these special guests. If you would like to be a part of Night to Shine prom, please see the links below or contact info@ridgelife.org for information about how to get involved, to volunteer, refer a guest, or to donate.
